wheelchair when he was hit by a car there, and we as kate says this has been a dangerous problem for years. >> reporter: frank this intersection is notorious so much they put that there to try to catch them. it is known as one of the most dangerous intersections in san francisco. >> i don't feel very secure in this cross section. >> and just after midnight it was a deadly intersection, san francisco police say a person in a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross in this area. the victim later died at the hospital. >> i hate to say i am not surprised. there has been a number of accidents in the past 3, 4, 5 months. >> they are concerned that drivers are not paying attention to the signs or traffic lights. >> as careful as you can be as a cyclist you are watching to see it is my turn but not going because these guys will hit me,

>> officials say 23-year-old paul ciancia walked into terminal 3 of the airport on friday pulling a suitcase with backpacks on top, there were holes to hide the assault rifle inside, he pulled it out and on earned fire on gerrardo hernandez, killing him and also shot two other employees and a passenger before they shot him 4 times. according to police he left a letter saying he made a conscious decision to kill multiple employees in order to instill fir and the letter also talked about how easy it is to get a gun into an airport. lax has completely re-opened since the shooting but the attack is raising questions about security at america's third largest airport. >> nobody stopped him there. >> i am nervous but honestly since 9/11 i am always edger than it used to be.

>> investigators say he told them he actedded alone. >> tsa agents are wearing black bands on their arms in memory of him. >> the woman accused of killing a menlo park couple last month is expected to make her first court appearance in the case this afternoon, medical prevented her from being arraigned last week, they say her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when the struck and killed them. they filed a federal civil rights lawsuit over the fatal shooting of their son, andy lopez was killed by a deputy nearly two weeks ago. he was carrying a replica assault rifle at the time. the family has already filed three wrongful death claims in that case. this season's crab season looks promising there. sport fisherman able to start crabbing over the weekend but

and tonight clear and cool, a little chilly in some of the valleys again but it looks like warmer weather as we head throughth about the middle of the week then things shift as the jet stream drops toward the bay area, still that jet stream is sending it north so we won't have to worry about rain but mild temperatures continuing through wednesday then slowly cooling things down. plan on 60s and 70s in the central valley, high country 45 lake tahoe and 57 yosemite, around the bay today nice temperatures, 67 san jose, 65 fremont, 68 palo alto, cool toward the coastline, low 60s, east bay temperatures 60s and 70s and then inside the bay plenty of sunshine throughout the afternoon and some great weather, overnight lows probably in the 40s again and
